Privacy Policy & Security Statement
1. Data Processing Philosophy
NinoPad is built upon a local peer-to-peer Wi-Fi network architecture connecting iPhone/iPad and Mac. No user account registration or login is required. We never route your control commands, typed text, or screen captures through any external cloud server.
2. Locally Stored Data
Your custom keypad decks, pairing credentials, device nicknames, and app preferences remain strictly in your device's local application sandbox. The main app and iOS Home Screen widgets share connection status via a secure, sandboxed App Group container.
3. Purchase & Subscription Security
Pro subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed exclusively via Apple StoreKit. NinoPad only verifies validated active receipt entitlements and never accesses or stores credit card numbers, billing addresses, or Apple ID credentials.
4. iCloud Cloud Sync
When explicitly enabled, your custom keypad configurations and wallpapers sync across your devices via your personal Apple iCloud Private Container. NinoPad never uses this data for advertising or tracking.
5. Local Network & Screen Streaming
NinoPad uses Apple's native Bonjour protocol to discover Mac companion instances on your local Wi-Fi. Control commands are sent peer-to-peer. Low-latency screen mirroring only functions after explicit macOS Screen Recording authorization and remains strictly local.
6. Permissions Usage
Mac Accessibility permission is used solely to dispatch keyboard shortcuts and mouse clicks. Screen Recording and Microphone permissions are requested only when using desktop mirroring or the wireless microphone, and can be revoked anytime in System Settings.
7. Third-Party Services
The official website is delivered via encrypted HTTPS, and Mac releases are distributed through GitHub Releases. NinoPad contains zero third-party advertising SDKs or tracking frameworks.
